Brief Psychotic Disorder
DEFINITION
- Psychotic disorder characterized by presence of 1 or more psychotic symptoms (hallucinations, delusions, or disorganization in speech, thought, or behavior) with sudden onset and full remission of all symptoms within 1 month
- Sometimes but not always brought on by stress
