- Treatment of CMV retinitis (IV) in immunocompromised pts.
- Prophylaxis and prevention of CMV disease recurrence in pts with AIDS and solid organ transplant recipients (use for primary prophylaxis in HIV is FDA approved but not currently recommended; valganciclovir preferred).
- Herpes keratitis (ophthalmic gel)
