Boceprevir is indicated for the treatment of HCV (genotype1, used in combination with peg-INF + ribavirin) in adult patients with compensated liver disease, including cirrhosis. Boceprevir may be used in either treatment-naïve patients or those who have failed previously interferon/ribavirin therapy.
