  • Cerebral edema (secondary to CNS toxoplasmosis)
  • Numerous allergic, inflammatory, immunosuppressive conditions; trichinosis with neurologic or myocardial involvement; seasonal and perennial allergic and nonallergic rhinitis (intranasal steroid sprays); asthma (steroid inhalers); COPD (steroid inhalers in combination with beta-2 agonist)
