CD4 Cell Count
DEFINITION
- Number of CD4 cells (T-helper lymphocytes with CD4 cell surface marker), used to assess immune status, susceptibility to OIs, urgency of ART, need for OI prophylaxis, and for defining AIDS (CD4 < 200).
