- Treatment of acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI) caused by susceptible Gram-positive organisms.
- S. aureus(including MRSA), S. pyogenes, S. agalactiae, S. dysgalactiae, S. anginosus group, E. faecalis (vancomycin-susceptible)

- Not FDA-approved for bacteremia[2], endocarditis (right-sided), osteomyelitis[5], prosthetic joint infection, and/or other invasive gram-positive infections
- Off-label use is supported by growing observational data and limited randomized evidence, but optimal patient selection and dosing remain unsettled
