- Urinary tract infections (uncomplicated) caused by E. coli, P. mirabilis, K. pneumoniae, Enterobacter species, and S. saprophyticus
- Otitis media caused by S. pneumoniae and H. influenzae(in children > 6 months)
NON-FDA APPROVED USES
- Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia (in combination with dapsone)
- Campylobacter jejuni
- Limited evidence suggesting uncomplicated urinary tract infections can be treated x3 days.
