- Mild to moderate severe community-acquired pneumonia due to S. pneumoniae (including multi-drug resistant isolates), H. influenzae, M. catarrhalis, C. pneumoniae, or M. pneumoniae.
NON-FDA APPROVED USES
- Sinusitis, acute (FDA indication withdrawn 2007 due to a low benefit vs. risk ratio)
- Chronic bronchitis, acute exacerbations (FDA indication withdrawn due to a low benefit vs. risk ratio)
