VACCINE TYPE
- Historically, three types of recombinant, subunit particle vaccines have been used, but only 9-valent available in the U.S. (since 2017):
- 9-valent (types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, 58)
- Quadrivalent (types 6, 11, 16, 18)
