- Hypertriglyceridemia - as an adjuct to diet to reduce triglycerides levels in adults with severe (≥500 mg/dL) triglyceride hypertriglyceridemia.

- Limited data to support prevention of CVD in patients at high cardiovascular disease risk.[1]
- Some data to support prevention of CVD in patients with prior CVD, although treatment does not reduce the incidence of recurrent nonfatal MI.[1]
- Prevention of arrhythmias[6]
