INDICATIONS

FDA

  • Hypertriglyceridemia - as an adjuct to diet to reduce triglycerides levels in adults with severe (≥500 mg/dL) triglyceride hypertriglyceridemia.

NON-FDA APPROVED USES

  • Limited data to support prevention of CVD in patients at high cardiovascular disease risk.[1]
  • Some data to support prevention of CVD in patients with prior CVD, although treatment does not reduce the incidence of recurrent nonfatal MI.[1]
  • Prevention of arrhythmias[6]
