- Brain abscess (with metronidazole)
- Appendicitis (with metronidazole)
- Peritonitis: spontaneous bacterial and secondary

- Lyme disease: late Lyme arthritis and neuroborreliosis
- Meningococcal meningitis prophylaxis: 125 mg x1 (< 15 yrs); 250 mg x1 (≥15 yrs)
- Neurosyphilis
- Disseminated GC
