- Gram-negative bacterial pneumonia
- Skin and soft tissue infections (caused by Gram-negative bacilli)
- Complicated and uncomplicated urinary tract infections
- Intra-abdominal infections (in combination with metronidazole)
- Septicemia (cause by Gram-negative bacilli)
- Gynecologic infections (in combination with anaerobic coverage)
- Nebulized aztreonam is indicated for treatment of respiratory symptoms in cystic fibrosis (CF patients with FEV1 of 25-75% of predicted) with P. aeruginosa
NON-FDA APPROVED USES
- Alternative therapy for treatment of Gram-negative infections in patients with severe allergies
