- Echinococcosis (Echinococcus spp.)
- Cystic echinococcosis: occasionally used as a specialist-directed adjunct before surgery or following cyst-content spillage; not standard monotherapy.
- Hymenolepiasis (Hymenolepis nana)
- Neurocysticercosis (Taenia solium) as combination therapy with albendazole for patients with >2 viable parenchymal cysts.[14][16][6]
